I finally managed to rid myself of horrible thorn in my side called "Engineering." It unfortunately means that I'm now an Agribusiness major, but at least I won't get kicked out at the end of the quarter now. So I'm way stoked about that. Hopefully this will give me the time to get into the College of Business. On another note I got the philosophy class that I wanted with the really cool teacher. It's a lot of fun.
In fencing there has been a new development. The intermediate class is both learning epee and our coach is now the head coach Eric McDonald. This is all really cool. Although the first night that we did epee I was not happy about it at all. At least the fencing epee part. I am very much not finished with learning foil, which is why I didn't want to change weapons yet. To make it worse the first night I had a left-handed weapon that I was trying to use in my right hand. That was not fun. On the night of the next lesson though I had a whole heap more fun. I had a right-handed weapon and the drills were challenging. The entire night was really fun though because we spent a long time warming up and doing some strenght building exercises. Mary found out that we're learning epee, so is going to fence me this thursday, after my fourth lesson. That'll be cool cuz last time I worked with Mary on drills it was really helpful. She doesn't like foil though, so I haven't been able to work with her since. It should be good.
Friday night was Sun's 21st birthday. Sun is Goat's girlfriend. She has adopted me as her concubine.(there's a long story behind that) It was a lot of fun though, I normally just hear about Sun because I'm always so busy, but this time I actually go to hang out with her and the other friends that I normally just hear about. It was good.
Saturday Nicole IMs me asking if the BU was going to be doing anything that night. I said we should and eventually came up with the idea of dinner and a board game night at my house. this was about 3 o'clock. I spent the next 5 hours working on that dinner. People were supposed to show up at 7. At 7 I had 3 people there. It was that way for the next hour. Nicole actually had called and said that she had been kidnapped, which meant she was going to be late. Finally people started showing up. It seemed like everyone had eaten already though. Well not everyone, but I was way dissappointed in the fruits of my labor. 50 dollars and 5 hours I guess really built my expectations high. I really started to run low on energy after my hopes had been dashed. It was still fun though. In between doing dishes, cleaning up scraps, getting drinks, and storing food I was able to sit down and talk, which is my favorite thing in the world. I love just sitting down and loitering with a bunch of people that I'm good friends with.
After the shindig I took Eric Phillips home and we started talking on the ride over there. We ended up continuing the conversation once we got to his place for maybe 45 mins or something, in all honesty I have no idea how long we were sitting there talking, but a goodly amount of time at anyrate.
Tonight is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets at Chris's house! (I decided not to host tonight for my roomates' sake.) That means that I ahve to make cookies though. I really have so little energy right now, but everyone expects it. So I have to, that means I need to go get butter now. So bye.
