So tonight before Kim and I left we were supposed to teach this Waltz lesson for this Father/Daughter thing that I had thought was from the same girl that asked us to teach at the highschool dance.
I was wrong.
It turned out not to be a highschoolers, but pre-schoolers. The dad's were all getting to spend time with their daughters. We thought the lesson was going to be from 7-8PM. It only lasted 20 mins and that was a stretch! We asked for nothing but donations as we had in the past. The people were very generous. $138 for 20 mins of having fun. I was pleasantly surprised, that means that we have paid for the boombox and the dance's deficit.
So because the lesson got over so early, Kim and I got to LA in short order and were there before 11 which is when the second showing of SG-1 is supposed to be on. However, the digital cable down here is on an eastcoast feed, so it was over two hours prior. Our hope is that Kim's family was able to tape it for us. We asked them but I don't know what the verdict was. I hope so! It's supposed to be a two parter, and a good one at that. I don't want to have next week's ruined because I missed this week. Oh well, we'll see. I'll get to see them all eventually anyway, because Sean will buy them on DVD anyway. That means waiting a whole bunch though. I don't want to do that. I'm going to bed now. Goodnight.
