Merry Christmas

This is the Christmas Entry. Merry Christmas to all of you that read this.

I spent the day today at Kim's parents' house and had christmas with her and her family. This was one of the more special christmas' that I have had in a long time. I felt not only a real part of her family, but I felt that I was celebrating with family, like it should be. The other day, Tuesday I think it was, Kim's father thanked me for a being a part of their family. I am really thankful this christmas to be a part of their family. They have accepted me into the family without question and with open arms. I feel at times that I am going to end up being closer to this family than to my blood kin, but that is partially because of proximity and Kim's strong attachment.

Over the last couple of years I have started to grow some bonds with my family that were never there as I was growing up and it's really a difficult process for me at times, but along those lines I have found some new family. My mom told me years ago that I have a half-sister out in the world somewhere that had been given up for adoption. Almost six years ago I posted a thing on adoption.com that allowed me to post the info I had about my half-sister and leave out there to find. About a week ago she contacted me. We have been e-mailing back and forth a little bit and it is very exciting to me. We will see what happens of that.

So all in all this christmas has just been a great time to reflect on all the things that I am thankful for and I plan on having a nice long post for the end of the year to detail those things.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good sight. God bless those that accept it and those that don't He'll probably bless you anyway. :)
