yes, I'm still here...

I haven't blogged in forever, but I don't really think anyone reads this, anyways. I am very, very, very, very busy. I never ever want to get married again. (and I told this to Myles, he know's this is the only marriage he's gonna get) hehe! I've been overwhelmed with things to do, things to think about, things to plan, and I am so tired of it. I'm ready, already! Let's get married! It will be 2 weeks from this saturday. We are slowly hammering out all the little details for the ceremony and reception, our honeymoon's been booked, and we're making some progress on the barn, too! My family is busy getting the house ready for the reception with landscaping and table rentals and food, and my mind is officially full of details, literally. Don't ask me to do anything, I won't remember to do it. Don't ask me to make any decisions, I don't have the mental or emotional energy for it. Just tell me where I have to be next, and what I'm supposed to be doing. Don't bog me down with details. I just can't handle it right now.

So that's my life, at the moment- feeling overwhelmed by details. But I'm still managing to have fun, and I still love Myles more than anything. He's the reason I'm going through all this, after all. Love is a strange thing. But I have the rest of my life to figure it out.

Interesting Quote

"like a moth to a flame, Democrats can't help themselves when it comes to denigrating and demonizing Christians."

-Rep. John N. Hostettler (R)

On first reading this quote, I said "hear, hear," but then I read some more articles and thought about it. Granted this quote encompasses my feelings, but it really is not beneficial to our country. Yes, Democrats and Republicans should have different views, that makes us stronger by looking at more than one side, but bickering back and forth does nothing but make us look pathetic. I'm not saying that either side is right for their views, I'm just saying both sides need to focus more on bettering the country and less on "he said, she said." Especially when it comes to nitpicking about the seperation of church and state.

On another note, I have three deals in escrow right now and I should be getting my first paycheck next week. Yay!

Well I was going to wait

I was going to wait until my house actually closed escrow, but Sammot wants to know. I have written up, submitted, counter-offered, and put into escrow my first deal. This however was not the deal that I was referring to previously in my below post. That deal I'm still working on. Since my first deal though I have written up about 4-5 offers and should have 3-4 things entering escrow here pretty soon. I also have something on the horizon that looks very, very promising. A gentleman is looking for a second time at a $1,575,000 home. For all you out there that I haven't told that would mean %2.5 of that price to me. Very nice.

The wedding plans are going along smoothly and it is coming up very fast.

It's my birthday today, happy birthday to me. Yay!

That's all for now. Bye.
